一、 本校為謀求圖書館業務之改進與發展,充分發揮圖書館之功能,特設置圖書委員會(以下簡稱本委員會)。

二、 本委員會設置委員若干人,由圖資長、各系所(學位學程)教師代表各一人及學生代表一人組成。委員任期為一學年,得連任之。教師代表由各系所(學位學程)自行推派,學生代表由學生會推派。

三、 本委員會委員之任務如下:

(一)圖書經費預算之分配。
(二)圖書資料之選擇與採購方針。
(三)圖書館重要章則及重大圖書採購案件之審議。
(四)其他有關本校圖書業務之建議事項。

四、 本委員會每學期開會一次,由圖資長召集,並主持會議,必要時得召開臨時會議,並得視實際需要邀請有關人員列席。

五、 本要點經行政會議通過,陳請校長核定後實施,修正時亦同。

  1. Purpose
    To promote the improvement and development of library services and to fully realize the functions of the library, the Library Committee (hereafter referred to as "the Committee") is hereby established.

  2. Composition
    The Committee shall consist of a number of members, including the Library Director and one faculty representative from each department (or degree program), as well as one student representative.
    The term of appointment for members is one academic year and may be renewed.
    Faculty representatives are nominated by their respective departments (or degree programs), while the student representative is nominated by the Student Association.

  3. Duties
    The duties of the Committee members are as follows:

    (1) Allocation of the library's budget for book and resource purchases.
    (2) Formulation of policies regarding the selection and acquisition of library materials.
    (3) Review of major library regulations and significant procurement proposals.
    (4) Other recommendations related to the University's library services.

  4. Meetings
    The Committee shall meet once per semester and may hold additional meetings as necessary. Meetings are convened and chaired by the Library Director. Depending on the agenda, relevant personnel may be invited to attend.

  5. Implementation and Amendments
    These Guidelines shall be implemented upon approval by the Administrative Meeting and the University President. The same procedure applies to any subsequent amendments.
