Purpose:
To provide faculty with facilities for teaching and academic research, the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology Library (hereinafter referred to as "the Library") has established multimedia teaching rooms and formulated these management guidelines.
Eligibility:
All faculty and staff members of the university are eligible to apply for the use of the multimedia teaching rooms by contacting the Library's Audiovisual Resource Center via phone or in person for reservation.
Operating Hours:
The borrowing time follows the operating hours of the Audiovisual Resource Center. The hours for use during winter and summer breaks will be announced separately.
Use Policy:
To ensure fairness for all faculty and students, the multimedia teaching rooms are not available for designated class scheduling or long-term borrowing.
Regulations for Borrowing:
Borrowers must comply with the following rules. Any violations will be handled according to the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology Library's Reader Violation Procedures:
(1) Once the application is approved, the borrower must complete the borrowing process within 15 minutes of the reserved time, presenting identification at the Library's 8th-floor counter. Failure to do so will be considered a waiver of the reservation.
(2) The maximum capacity of the multimedia teaching room is 67 persons. Borrowers must also operate the equipment according to the instructions and maintain the room's cleanliness. If any damage occurs due to improper handling, compensation will be required as per the regulations.
(6) In cases of necessity or other circumstances, the Library reserves the right to decide whether to approve or suspend a reservation or cancel the borrowing rights.
