一、 為提昇本校學術研究具國際水準與擴大本校圖書館(以下簡稱本館)專業諮詢服務,特定訂本要點。

二、 凡本校教職員工生皆可透過本館申請此項服務。

三、 服務規範

(一)本校為提升國際期刊論文的品質與數量,對於本校師生投稿國際期刊論文,由本校編制外專任教學人員,提供英文論文的免費編修(即潤稿)服務,但並非中翻英的翻譯服務。
(二)申請此項服務的師生必須符合以下條件,方能受理。
1.該英文論文必須是投稿於SCI、SSCI、TSSCI、AHCI、EI…等所含括之期刊。
2.該英文論文的作者必須包含本校專任教師或編制外專任教學人員。
3.博碩班研究生申請本服務需經過指導教授同意,指導教授則宜評估該論文的水準,有希望通過國際期刊審查者才予以同意,並簽署「英文論文編修申請之指導教授同意書」。
(三)申請者應主動將投稿後的情形及結果告知原協助編修的老師。
(四)申請者若認為編修老師對論文發表具有貢獻 ,可於論文致謝篇中附記之。

四、 申請方式:

(一)英文論文編修服務採線上網頁申請,依收件次序,由系統排定編修指導老師。
(二)英文論文諮詢服務採線上登記,由本館聯繫編修指導老師與申請人,協助安排編修指導時段。

五、 服務地點:英文論文編修服務地點位於本館1樓教學研究支援中心-英文論文寫作指導室。

六、 本要點經圖書委員會議通過,陳請校長核定後實施,修正時亦同。

1. Purpose
To elevate the academic research quality of the University to an international standard and to expand the professional consultation services of the Library (hereinafter referred to as "the Library"), these guidelines are hereby established.

2. Eligibility
(1) All current faculty, staff, and students of the University may apply for this service through the Library.

3. Service Regulations
(1) To enhance the quality and quantity of international journal publications, the University offers free English editing (i.e., polishing) services for English academic papers submitted to international journals by University faculty and students, provided by contracted full-time teaching staff. This service does not include Chinese-to-English translation.

(2) Applicants must meet the following conditions for their application to be accepted:
  A. The paper must be submitted to journals indexed in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, AHCI, EI, or similar databases.
  B. The paper must list at least one full-time faculty member or contracted full-time teaching staff of the University as an author.
  C. Master's and doctoral students must obtain approval from their thesis advisor, who should evaluate the paper's quality and likelihood of acceptance by international journals. The advisor must sign the "Advisor’s Consent Form for English Academic Paper Editing Service."

(3) Applicants shall proactively inform the assigned editor of the submission status and results after the paper has been submitted.

(4) If the applicant believes the editor has significantly contributed to the publication of the paper, they may acknowledge the editor in the paper’s acknowledgments section.

4. Application Procedure
(1) English paper editing service must be applied for through the online application system. Editors are assigned in order of application received.
(2) For English paper consultation service, applicants must register online. The Library will coordinate with the editor and the applicant to schedule a consultation session.

5. Service Location
The English Academic Paper Editing Service is provided at the English Writing Consultation Room, located in the Teaching and Research Support Center on the 1st floor of the Library.

6. Implementation
These regulations shall be implemented following approval by the Library Committee and final approval by the President. Amendments shall follow the same procedure.
