【Exibition】2024 Bookworm Shopping Festival

The annual "Bookworm Shopping Festival" is back! The library invites everyone to join as book selectors from April 23rd (Tuesday) to April 25th (Thursday). Come and experience the joy of selecting and purchasing books for both the library and yourself. At the event, the library will cover the cost of the books you select. Come to the library's Bookworm Shopping Festival to pick out your new reads!

Event Details:

  1. Event Name: "You Pick the Books, I'll Cover the Bill" Book Fair Event.
  2. Target Audience:
    • Chinese books: Faculty and students of our university.
    • Western books: Limited to departmental library committee members and full-time teachers.
  1. Registration Methods:
  • Online registration: No limit on the number of registrations. Successful registrants who participate in book selection during the event period are eligible to enter the lucky draw.

    • On-site book selection: Available throughout the event period.
  1. Event Time:
  2. April 23rd (Tuesday) to April 25th (Thursday), 2024, daily from 09:00 to 16:00.
  3. Event Location: Ground floor lobby of the library.
  4. Exhibition Content: A selection of Chinese and Western books, totaling approximately 3000 volumes.
  5. Event Rules:
    • Faculty and students can freely select up to 3 favorite Chinese books.
    • Departmental library committee members and full-time teachers can purchase Western books (funds provided by the departmental library budget).
    • Participants must present their faculty or student ID cards.
    • During book selection, books can be handed to on-site staff, and the library will make purchases based on budget availability.
    • In addition to book selection, on-site book purchase is also available, and payment can be made by card (including travel cards).
    • Once new books are cataloged, readers who participate in book selection will receive priority borrowing rights.
    • Participants who register online for the event stand a chance to win 20 convenience store vouchers provided by the library, each with a face value of 100 NT dollars. The winners will be selected through a public draw at the library, and the list of winners will be announced separately.
