[Exhibition] "Flower Garments and Feather Dreams" - Pei Yu Jiang's Leather Carving Art Solo Exhibition

Exhibition Introduction:
This exhibition showcases over 20 artworks, each embodying auspicious artistic representations of daily objects. Jiang Pei Yu has created various leather carving techniques, experimenting with unconventional materials and incorporating elements of calligraphy and woodworking. This endeavor breaks free from traditional norms, adding a diverse range of expressions to leather carving art and enhancing its possibilities.

Exhibition Overview:
While traditional leather carving often features Tang Dynasty patterns, rarely does it capture the beauty of ink painting through this medium. In this exhibition, alongside practical leather pieces, several artworks use leather as paper and carving tools as brushes to portray the beauty of ink painting. The artist's visual aesthetic explores Eastern ink painting principles, such as composition and the use of blank space. During the process of carving and crafting, the leather canvas engages in a simple and pure dialogue with the artist, reflecting their inner thoughts and intensifying their dedication to creation.
